Male Sexual Rejuvenation
Male Sexual Rejuvenation - The Up & UpTM procedure
One of the fastest growing trends in male sexual health are treatments for erectile dysfunction (ED). It was previously thought of as a dysfunction for older men. But now we know that it is just as prevalent in men under 40 years old. In a recent study from the Journal of Sexual Medicine, it stated that nearly 1 in 4 men who presented with ED were under the age of 40. Nearly 50% of those were severe cases. There were also more younger men experiencing premature ejaculation or decrease in sensitivity. Older men had a higher incidence of the development of scar tissue leading to a painful curvature of the penis called Peyronie’s Disease.
At GCL aesthetics, we offer a novel treatment option for the treatment of all aspects of sexual dysfunction that does NOT involve severe vascular disease, psychogenic ED, neurologic ED (Gullian Barre, ALS, MS, etc). We offer the Up&Up™ treatment package to enhance sensitivity, erectile strength, time to erection, and optional treatment for Peyronie’s Disease. This does not involve any medications and does not require any prescriptions. The goal of the treatment is to enhance blood flow and stimulate angiogenesis or new blood vessel growth. This is achieved by using a combination of Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy and Male PRP enhancement for stronger erections injections.
FAQ's
Does it hurt?
For the best tolerable results, we do provide numbing cream that should be applied 1 hour prior to treatment
How long is the procedure?
As long as the numbing cream is applied prior to the procedure, it takes about 30 mins for the shockwave and 45 mins for the PRP treatment
Are there any side effects?
You may get some bruising from the injections but this resolves in a few days. You may also experience temporary extended numbness from the numbing cream but you can resume normal sexual activity the same evening.
How many treatments do I need?
Some clients need just 1 PRP treatment but others may experience improvement after the 2nd. The injections are spaced 3-6 months apart. The shockwave treatments are 2 weeks apart for 6 treatments.
Is there anything I need to do after the treatments?
As most of the pathology involves poor blood flow, its best to stick to a healthy diet and exercise regularly.
