IV Nutritional Therapy
IV therapy is a fast growing area of medicine as it has been recognized for many years of the effectiveness of getting nutrients via IV. The rational is, if nutrients are used to handle disease, should it matter which route it enters the body? In some ways it does depending on the chronic illness involved. Dr John Myers, a physician who utilized IV nutritional therapy for chronic illnesses for many years, had success in treating chronic diseases such as asthma, fibromyalgia, heart disease, chronic infections, HIV, etc. It is now widely recognised as the “hangover cocktail” and is used all through Las Vegas for many party goers needing to get over that hangover quickly.
At GentleCare Laser Aesthetics, we offer an array of IV nutrient therapies for may uses including rehydration following intense workouts, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, viral illness, vitamin B12 deficiency, and so on. During your consultation with Dr Tariq Ali Khan, he will help to determine if pre-lab workup is needed prior to starting your IV therapy which can be ran through your insurance or our contracted low rates through our partner labs.
