COVID-19 Update - Dr Tariq Ali Khan

To all of our Medical Aesthetic and laser clients, we would like to inform you that we will be altering our hours and visits during this time by offering telemedicine or virtual medicine Consultations. In accordance to social distancing and keeping our clients and staff safe, we will be making these changes.

For most consultations you do not have to come into the office, we can set up a time on the calendar to call you using GOOGLE HANGOUTS. For this feature, you will have to download this app to your phone. Make sure you have a GMAIL account for this to work properly.

As this feature is not a HIPPA certified means for medical communication we will not be taking any personal information such as SS#, Insurance policy numbers, credit card numbers and DOB. These will be attained on the phone by the staff prior to the visit.

Remember these points if you should feel you are symptomatic:

If you are a close contact of someone with COVID-19 or you are a resident in a community where there is ongoing spread of COVID-19 and develop symptoms of COVID-19 , call your healthcare provider and tell them about your symptoms and your exposure. They will decide whether you need to be tested, but keep in mind that there is no treatment for COVID-19 and people who are mildly ill may be able to isolate and care for themselves at home.

Mild Symptoms include:

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Malaise
  • +/-Shortness of breath

Severe Symptoms:

  • Fevers >103
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Chest pressure
  • Bluish lips

IF you have mild symptoms that do not include difficulty breathing, it's best to isolate and stay at home. Remember that a majority of the cases are still mild. However, if you start to have severe symptoms, go immediately to the hospital where there are protocols in place to get you triaged and tested. Our preferred hospital is Orange County Global Medical Center in Tustin/Santa Ana 714-953-3500

Testing in Office

At this time as non-hospital providers, we have restrictions on PPE (personal protective equipment) which have been allocated to the hospitals. Therefore we are unable to test for COVID-19 at this time. If symptoms are severe, you need to go to the hospital.

Please call us if you have any concerns and we can set up our virtual consultations via Google Hangouts. Hours will be: CONSULTATION SCHEDULE:

  • Monday 9:30AM- 3:00pm
  • Wednesday 9:30AM - 6:00pm
  • Friday 9:30AM - 5:00pm

Of note, this pertains to consultations, not procedures. Of course if you are healthy and have no symptoms, we can still schedule to perform your procedure. These will be limited to the hours noted below: PROCEDURE SCHEDULE:
