Cellulite Reduction
Cellulite Reduction - No dimple procedure
Cellulite is a connective tissue disorder which affects 80-90% of all women. There are a number of factors involved in this which include genetics, hormonal imbalances, pregnancy and of course diet. As we age there is also weakening of the collagen fibers which changes the elasticity of the skin and creates an uneven texture. This gives rise to the typical orange peel appearance on the thighs, Buttocks and upper arms. When the fibrous strands connecting deeper tissue layers start to compartmentalize growing fat cells, it creates unevenness of the skin and the appearance of cellulite.
Dr Tariq Ali Khan treats cellulite using a combination treatment that starts with subcision of the cellulitic area and injection with Sculptra® for improvement in collagen and stimulation of the skin to lessen laxity. This is them followed by a pulsed activation therapy to help aide in the reduction of the fat cells and eventually improvement of the cellulitic area.
The overall treatment results in a multilayer effect that provides:
- Skin Tightening
- Increased Blood Flow
- Stimulation of lipolysis
- Collagen formation
- Improved lymphatic drainage
- Improved muscle definition
